Walking past the less salubrious end of Mordaunt Road. Going to miss it round here. I think there are more 'homosexuals' per head, in Inner Avenue, than anywhere else we have lived.
Interesting that a Colleague was talking about an element of HOMOPHOBIA, being responsible for where myself and Jason are today. After my experiences and that of others I wouldn't deny it!
At the Kebab shop on Lodge Road. Not my usual haunt, but 'Small Fry' was shut. How very religious of them!
The Asian guy who runs this place is lovely, always happy and cheerful. He guessed straight away I wasn't a Chilli Sauce kind of girl, even predicting Garlic Mayonnaise as my favourite alternative!
I chose the better, upper class, kebab, so it took longer to cook. As an anglophile, I love all things English, especially our rather bland food.
Spain is probably the most English of European Countries, so I am sure life will remain pretty much as it is now, minus the trash, psychopathic and low lives. Can't be bad!
Lodge Road, Just in case I forget it, in the twilight of my years!
Going to take a few photographs of Southampton before I leave. Have done that a few times before, when we went to live in Australia, but this time, it is different. These are the final days, FOREVER, here in Southampton!
Lodge Road and Bevois Valley, are areas I know well, since I came to Southampton in 1992, as a University Student. Nightclubs and pubs, all very much as they were, very little change. I will take other photo's over the next few months. Memories, so many memories!
