Feel good Sunday!
Despite feeling absolute rubbish this morning, I decided to get on with the rest of the day. I guess to be honest, even though I felt terribly ill, the medication was still working enough to motivate me , to do things, I wouldn't usually do.!
I spent some quality time with Lily, my gorgeous cat. Rather Lily would not leave me alone. I was watching 'Princess Diaries 2', and you know what I absolutely loved it. Mainly because we call Jay Greaves, Princess, so part of it was watching it and having a good laugh about Jay and his 'Princess' ways!
It was a great feel good film, that really lifted my spirits, especially today.
King Charles I
Jay was trying to sort out his Verruca wig, without much success. He ended up looking like King Charles I. Have to say though, long hair suited him. Although to me he will always be Verruca Almond, with dubious caring abilities!
I must have been feeling better, as I even decided to cook today. That would only be the second time in six months, so I decided to push the boat out and cook a Moroccan Tagine.
Well, without singing my own trumpet, it must have turned out OK. Everyone ate it and it tasted great, if I do say so myself. At least I haven't lost my touch!
Lewi Gaga Gauntlett!
Dear Lewi. Lewi is a friend of my cousin Emmy. As this is a public blog, I do not want to go into too much detail, but we got to know Lewi very well. Always had a laugh, always did the walk of shame and always got into trouble.
Lipstick and Lewi
Ah, Lipstick and Lewi. Now what can I say about these two. Firstly thank you for the video. Jason and I had a good laugh. It is nice to know we still have so many friends, who mean the World to us, unlike those who have put us in our current position.
Lipstick and Lewi, truly are family. Denise, Lipstick or Cher, to my Dolly. She always cheers me up, when I'm down and I hope I do the same too.
I know these two, through my family in Portsmouth. In fact, they have become more like family than my family themselves. Pompey through and through and always up for a laugh.
Mind you, I have got into scraps with our Cher, but that is what makes the time spent with her special. She has a voice like Bonnie Tyler, gravelly and butch. She always sticks up for her mates and one day in the future, we will be doing 'Thelma and Louise', I can't wait!
Peace and Love!
