Dinner date with Ramona on Saturday night, something different for a change, We had made arrangements, the last time we went out. I am known for always getting times and dates wrong, so I was surprised I even remembered. judging on past experience.
We have grown a lot closer to Ramona over the last few months, and it is always a pleasure to be in her company. We have both had it rough, so lots more in common, more now than ever!
After dinner, we went to the lounge to chat and relax and have a few glasses of red wine. Apparently Ramona said she had far too much red wine and no one to drink it with. Well I would be delighted to help.
It was nice to feel relaxed and happy in good company, a rare thing these days. I don't really drink that much these days, since the alcohol interferes with my medication, so a couple of glasses went down well and even gave me a good nights sleep when I got home!
After devouring a tin of Cadburys Hero's, several bottles of wine and Sticky Toffee Pudding, we left at about 11pm, after Gogglebox. Love that show. It was great to relax after the previous two days from hell. Need to do it more often!
Romona cooked roast beef. She doesn't cook that often. since she lives on herself. Haven't seen her place for a while, since her lodgers moved out and I have to say she has done a good job painting and decorating. The place looks great.
We had a chat about my Bipolar and she was quite taken a back that I had decided to return to work. Well when you are not given much option, you don't have a choice. If anything goes wrong, on others heads be it.
I feel strong enough to deal with what I have too, for as long as I have to deal with it. As yet, I have no idea how long that will be. These are all questions that others should have to give answers too, not I.
Dinner was as lovely as ever. Ramona has always been great at cooking and puts myself to shame. She is the perfect hostess. Her house is very homely and I have always felt comfortable there.
